My collection of found objects stems from discovering interesting things on the ground while en route to public school as a child, in a neighborhood peppered with industry, poverty and blue collar conservative fervor. When I look at things, I wonder what they might become if allowed to fall apart and be put back together. The chopped up skateboards, broken guitars, shattered glass, leftover tile and random bits in my multimedia gallery embody this notion. These pieces bring order to chaos, management to disarray. And to the discarded, a place to call home.
